Welcome to Mountain View Track & Field Winter track tryouts will start on Tuesday, November 12th and go until Friday, November 15th 2024. Cross Country runners, your first day back will be Friday, November 15th. Everyone else needs to be at tryouts on Tuesday 11/12/2024 if you are interested in running indoor. You need a copy of your VHSL physical and an emergency contact form AND fill out the link below to fill out the student code of conduct form electronically. Each student also need to bring warm athletic clothes, as well light athletic clothes for when we start sweating, running shoes, a water bottle, and a jacket. Indoor Track & Field Events 55 Dash, 300, 500, 1000, 1600 & 3200 Meters Hurdles: 55 meters Relays: 4x200, 4x400, 4x800 meters Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put First Practice will be held at the track on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 Once school is dismissed athletes should changed into running gear and head to the track Practices will begin at 2:25 PM and expected to be completed around 4:35 PM Parents may pick up their athletes at the track or in case of bad weather by the door close to the weight room Athletes need to be dressed for the weather.
